Events and Festivals

Philosophical direction, curation, conception. We bring thought to places where something unexpected can happen: theaters, public squares, festivals, bookstores. Wherever people can gather to think together.

Events we create and direct

02 Milan · Teatro Carcano

Lezioni di Meraviglia

Learning to wonder, to not take the world for granted, to exercise the erotic dimension of complexity. A series of encounters where Andrea and Maura dialogue with musicians, scientists and artists to address what seems unapproachable: the apparent meaninglessness of existence.

03 Rome · Libreria Teatro Tlon

Literary Parties

Evenings celebrating the love of books, inspired by the phenomenon born in New York and Amsterdam. Cell phones banned, soft lighting, personalized recommendations from our "literary pharmacy." An oasis of culture and sociality where, between pages, new friendships are born united by a passion for reading.

04 Putignano

Carnevale di Putignano

Andrea is the philosophical director of Europe's oldest Carnival. He chose the theme of Subversion for the 2024 float parades and Paradox for 2025. A work focused on recovering the philosophical roots of Carnival and updating the themes of the papier-mâché masters.

05 Bari

BariDiversa – Festival of Queer Thinking

A provocative invitation to recognize and honor the diversity that inhabits our city and each of us, to not be afraid of being ourselves. Thinking in a queer way means striving to overcome binaries and labels, embracing Emily Dickinson's teaching: "Tell all the truth but tell it slant."

Organized for the City of Bari

06 European Parliament

Pensare Europeo

A series of encounters created in collaboration with the European Parliament, designed to strengthen the sense of belonging to the European community by connecting MEPs with philosophers, activists, historians and artists. A bridge between institutions and citizens through cultural dialogue.

07 Milan · Rome

Festa della Filosofia

Living philosophy as the ancients did: Socrates met students and friends in convivial settings, Plato's books are conversations, Aristotle "walked" with his disciples. Not a traditional conference with frontal lectures, but an event with physical and mental exercises, philosophical walks and conversations.

08 Rome · Villa Ada

Tlon Fest – Thinking Music

Three days of music and thought. Philosophers, musicians, artists and intellectuals unite high and low, serious and playful, moving from Mozart to Raffaella Carrà, from the philosophy of Grunge to Franco Battiato, from '90s boy bands to AI in music. An intellectual roller coaster concluding with a literary party.
